![]() ![]() We then also meet Jin-woo’s ex wife who is quite off putting. We love a strong woman who doesn’t tolerate disrespect. She tells Jin-woo what he needs to hear and scolds him for being disrespectful to her in the first episode. Hee-joo makes up for her sad scene at the end of episode one. We meet Jung-hoon (Jin-woo’s secretary) !! aww one of my favorite characters. in-woo finds that Se-Joo is supposed to arrive in Granada by train so he goes to the train station to find Se-Joo. Jin-woo realizes that he needs the help of Hee-joo because she is the only one who will know where her brother is. Then Jin-woo ends up back at the hotel and yells at Hee-Joo and then we realize who Hee-joo is! She is the sister of Chan-yeol’s character (Se-Joo). Then it flashes back to Jin-woo continuing the game and finding a weapon (sword) to fight his enemy. Then the scene flashed back in time to when Jin-woo was contacted by Chan-yeol’s character and how he ended up in Granada. We learn it’s the Augmented Reality game and Jin-woo is not hurt from being slashed, but everything feels so real. ![]() There is a scary scene of a medieval dead knight wandering the city and a statue comes alive which attacks Jin-woo. Jin-woo then goes to explore Granada and he references the magic in the city. There are some scenes of Jin-woo getting settled in his room which is quite dirty and there is a cute scene of him trying to keep a rat out of his room. Then we meet Jin-woo and Hee-Joo at hostel Bonita. This scene will also be played again in future episodes. The supporting actors are amazing in their roles and I love the incorporations of their stories.Įpisode 1 starts off immediately with an action sequence of Chan-yeol’s character running from someone. I feel like the story would do well without the love triangle introduction. I mean there is, but it’s not very strong. I’m kind of glad there isn’t really a love triangle. The main characters are beautiful and lovely! Hyun-Bin plays Yoo Jin-wooĪnd Park Shin-hye plays Jung Hee-joo / Emma. This show is kind of like W-Two Worlds so if anyone liked that drama, they should get on this one. It’s hard to understand, but maybe that’s what makes it so genius. The story is also relatively slow, but fast at the same time. I think it’s probably because the elements of this video game is so new and strange for me. In the beginning I didn’t really understand what was going on, but I caught on much later. While it’s pretty well done, some parts feel very redundant for me. It doesn’t tell the viewers the story linearly. Some episodes start off with a scene and then flashback to the hours or days before the scene. I found the storytelling aspect in the show very unique. ![]() The show incorporates elements of A.R in the form of an interactive video game that is quite scary to watch. It’s about an Augmented Game that starts to become reality and messes up the life of Yoo Jin-woo while also introduces him to the love interest. It’s a South Korean Drama that is set in Granada, Spain and Korea. ![]()
